The mounted unit of the Guàrdia Urbana police force in ceremonial uniform escort the new Mexican Ambassador, Colonel Adalberto Tejeda, to the Republic Presidential residence, Pedralbes Palace, for the presentation of credentials ceremony. The procession reaches the front steps of the palace where an assault company form the guard of honour. After the ceremony, the ambassador leaves the palace and the delegation goes along the Diagonal Avenue.
